RMN Plans To Have 18 Warships

KD PerakThe Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN) plans to have 18 warships in an effort to make the armada competitive to others in the regions, Navy Chief Admiral Tan Sri Abdul Aziz Jaafar said.

He said six warships would be built under the Tenth Malaysia Plan (10MP) while the remaining six would be built under the Eleventh Malaysian Plan (11MP).

RMN had six warships of which five had been commissioned while the other would be commissioned by year end.
